Participants are selected through a competitive application process. Each application is assessed independently at least 3 reviewers, including clinican researchers and a biostatistician.
Postions are offered to the top-rated applicants based on the requirements and criteria below.
Applicants should have training and experience in a clinical discipline involved in cancer care. These disciplines include medical oncology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology, gynaecologic oncology, haemato-oncocolgy, paediatric oncology, psycho-oncology and palliative care. Applicants from other clinical disciplines involved in cancer care such as nursing, medicine, radiology, nuclear medicine, pathology, pharmacology, dietetics, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy are also encouraged to apply.
Applications must be submitted online from 6 November 2015 to 26 February 2016.

Applications must be written in English: proficiency in written and spoken English is essential.
Applications must contain each of the following components:

Participation in previous workshops is not required.
Applicants selected for the workshop will offered a position by email. Before attending the workshop, participants must write a more detailed background, literature review, and rationale for their proposed study. Participants must arrive at the workshop prepared to develop the proposed study into a full clinical research protocol suitable for submission to an ethics review committee.
