Fellowships

Fellowships are awarded to help cover the costs of attending the workshop.

Applications for fellowships are considered and awarded by the ACORD Workshop Selection Committee. 

Recipients of fellowships will have shared accommodation with one or more other participants.

Fellowships fall in two categories:

Trainee Fellowships are awarded to successful applicants who are in an oncology training program or doing a PhD or equivalent higher degree. Trainee Fellowships cover travel, shared accommodation, and food. Those awared a Trainee Fellowship are still charged a registration fee of 2000 AUD. Successful applicants are encouraged to ask their supervisors, employers, or trials group to pay for all or part of the registration fee.

Financial Hardship Fellowships are awarded to successful applicants from low or middle income countries who can demonstrate financial hardship. Financial Hardship Fellowships cover the costs of travel, shared accommodation, and food. Applicants awarded a Financial Hardship Fellowship are not charged the registration fee of 2000 AUD.
